The tenth edition of International Contest for Fashion Designers and Enthusiasts OFF Fashion has drawn to a close. The leading theme (“Afterlife – continuation”) was dedicated to the Greatest Tailors who passed away. During gala day in Kielce Centrum of Culture (Kieleckie Centrum Kultury) not only 20 finalists of fashion collections, but also the best ones from previous editions were presented. Furthermore, there were shown extra fashion show “Spooky Bride” (“Upiorna panna młoda”). The audience was entertained by Zakopower band.
Fashion projects were assessed by jury of experts: Paprocki & Brzozowski, professor Barbara Hanuszkiewicz, Wojciech Grzybała, Tomasz Jacyków, Michała Zaczyński, Farouk Chekoufi, Mariusz Przybylski, Vaewer Coni, Michał Kuś, Katarzyna Zawadzka and Barbara Mietkowska.
The two main prizes went to students from National Academy of Art in Sofia: the first one (10 thousand PLN) to George Stoilov, the second (5 thousand PLN) – Nikolay Bozhilov. The cheque with 3 thousand PLN (third prize) went to Jacek Mroczkowski – a fashion and footwear designer from Warsaw.
There were also many persons who won distinction prizes: Jakub Haber, awarded with a sewing machine founded by Media Markt Firm. A HEXE Talent statuette from Hexeline Company went to Aneta Zielińska. A pearl jewellery founded by VISANTI Company were given to Magdalena Stępnik-Kozłowska. Nikolay Bozhilov were appreciated by Planetfashin.pl portal and were distictioned by Mariusz Brzozowski, Marcin Paprocki and Mariusz Przybylski. What is more, some models were honored; Kamila Młynarczyk, Faustyna Ząbek, Dawid Nowicki from Pinawells Agency were given gifts from Bella Rossa Firm and Dyberg/Kern. Traditionally, Magdalena Kusztal, the Director of Kielce Centrum of Culture (Kieleckie Centrum Kultury) rewarded two mass media representatives from Kielce, Ewa Okońska from Radio Kielce and Dorota Klusek from Echo Dnia newspaper who received OFF FASHION Friend Statuette.
